ARC Expiry Date wrong?

Now I’m sure this has been covered somewhere on this forum, or somewhere on tealit but it’s late i’m tired and I can’t be fluffed to go through loads of old posts.

Anyway I signed a 1 year contract with a school in September which originally gave me the ARC, and the ARC said that it expire in September 2011 (when the contract ends at that school). I figure after a while of working at the school that it wasn’t what I wanted so I pretty much left in May and got a new job with another who offered me and arc and a one year contract. So I went off to process the ARC to get it changed to another school and get it all done and sorted and it went smoothly. However I then looked at the expiry date of my ARC and realised that it still states my expiry date as this September and not next May as my new school has offered me a contract till May.

What’s up with that? Is that meant to be or someone made a little mistake?

How would/could anybody here possibly know what has happened with your ARC?
If i was you i’d ask my questions at the issuing NIA office when i was less tired (really… no kidding…)

Just want to check that this isn’t some sort of standard thing, before I head to the immigration in Banciao take a ticket and wait for 1.5 hours (no lie) before I get seen to. :fume:

OK, so if you ask your employer, perhaps they can call the NIA and figure out what you need to do to get it fixed - and then you will still have to go to the NIA office…
