I have a couple of questions regarding my ARC that I hope someone can help me with.

If one wants to change from one employer to another, does one have to leave the country?

If it is unnecessary to leave the country in order to do so, how does one go about it?

If it is possible to get the employer changed on the ARC, does the expiry date stay the same? Or does it automatically get extended by a year?

Is it possible to extend the term of the ARC without going to Hong Kong or another country? Can one get an extension without leaving the country?

Your help will be appreciated.

Yes, the expiry date will stay the same.
Too extend your ARC you don’t have to leave the country.

I too am thinking about changing my employer I have checked TEALIT and they say that you do not have to leave the country. Although you must secure the job at your new school first then quit your current position. Check this web page and you will have all the information you need regarding this topic.
