Are adult KTVs (the ones with hostesses) being protected by police departments?

It seems that the inspections are just done for show.

Someone’s being a naughty boy.

By Jove I do believe the OP has uncovered potential corruption in the Taiwan police force.

Adult KTV’s? I always assumed they were just there for singing and drinking! What can they ‘inspect’? Bad singing, underage drinking?

How can it be ‘openly’? KTV’s have separate rooms!

You want to report to the police that you’ve “heard that there are drugs openly used inside”…

Have fun with that.

maybe walk on down to the local police station and ask if they are interested in your crime tip.
Notice their reaction. Perhaps you’ll see corruption firsthand.
Then watch out as you walk back home. See that scooter coming at your really fast…

I’m guessing old Roman made a financial transaction for sexual services with an agreeable hostess and wants to know if he was caught on CCTV.

It’s not so much that KTVS are being protected by police departments, more that they are being utilized by them. After all, policemen need a way to unwind too.

No need for interrogations or accusations of trolling, thanks. Give people a bit of space please.
