I have been looking around at real estate prices. Is it just me or are the prices actully going up? I’m niot sure what they were last year but this year they seem higher. At least in Neihu, near the new MRT.
Ski, there is a small move forwards in prices in the Neihu area - i live there also - for lower price tag properties, but this is the asking price, not the final negotiated selling price, these have either dropped by a small amount or remained static.
To my way of thinking, now is the time to be buying, prices might drop a little further depending on location and proximity to the MRT work being done, but then prices WILL go up, but that is 3 years or so away, if you can wait that long then buy.
I am looking at buying another apartment in Neihu as we speak.
Yes, I rather think that prices in our area of Tamsui have shot up somewhat, but I’m not sure if that’s the strenght of the housing market, the scarcity of property in our community or both factors at work.
