Are there more women than men in Taiwan?

I seem to get the impression that Taiwan has a lot more women than men. From looking at the crowd outside, in mrt stations this seems to be the case.

So if so why is it, from hearing other Taiwanese men talk that Taiwanese girls are extremely demanding, asks a lot (typical condition for marriage in Taiwan is an overpriced house of their choosing) and are completely useless in the house (as in can’t cook, don’t want children, etc) like they have plenty of fish to choose from. I know this isn’t true based on your experience but perhaps the women you see are more international.

Are there a glut of women but they don’t want men unless they are treated like a princess?

There are more women in public and shops like this Bitch Fry-Fry - #2 by afterspivak , but in fact more men but seems they like to be at home (or offices) and even more so nowdays they can get food at home… Most women do not want be a princess but the freedom do what they want and can do that more more as earnings get better with better education.
