I think there are 8 containers with some silicon ring, which would make them microwave unsafe. I’m confused whether that ring is on glass container or the lid. Any help?
99.9% chance that the silicone is on the lid: All similar designs I’ve seen are like this, and from manufacturing standpoint it wouldn’t make sense otherwise I think.
The container is 100% glas and microwave-safe. Source: My wife buys them by the dozens.

I do not like that brand because the lid splits pretty fast. Lock n lock is another option. Best is Pyrex but the kids are a nightmare.

I don’t think the containers will harm your microwave in anyway, shape or form.
Although materials may be marked “microwave” safe, it doesn’t mean they’re necessarily safe for you.
Melamine is one of the worst offenders. Small amounts leech out of every melamine container or plate, even though they may be marked microwave safe.
