My issue with 5g is that you only get 5gb of data (no unlimited plan like 4g had), then falls back to like 2g. Just seems to skip 4g completely and speed goes down to 0.5mbps
Depends on your plan. I have unlimited 5g and 100gb if shared with hotspot. If that runs out, then it reverts back to 4g.

The now defunct Taiwan PHS service was basically that, a low power service that essentially was an outdoor cordless phone. They needed a mini tower every few hundred feet. Even today, some roofs still have the PHS tower on it, obviously now shutdown.

TW mobile offers unlimited hotspot 5g if you sign their 2 year contract with home gigabit internet. They only include unlimited hotspot if you sign up for home internet as well.

Read the fine prints. It depends what their guaranteed speed is. But it’s going to vary.
