Are you cooking for Christmas?

Who is making Christmas dinner this year? or are you dinning out?
I am making dinner, still going through the menu, but I sure want to do something special.
How about you?

just made a plan to break out the pasta roller and make some ravioli

Find me some one who would like me to cook for them and I would. But being that I’m single  and my family is 6,000 miles there’s no point.

For the SO’s family I’ve opted for the great traditional English dinner of Fondue, Paella and a Lemon mouse.

I’m cooking the whole Turkey dinner shebang… can’t imagine not doing so. If you like to cook and there is no family around, why not create one just for the day? This year, I’m really blessed to have both my mother and father here, as well as one of my brothers. First time in over 20 years when I’ve had both of my parents at Christmas!

Wow, sounds great.

So does that.

And that. Mmmmmm. :lick:

I’ve put a lot of effort into decorating and presents and cards and stockings, etc, but hadn’t even considered dinner. Maybe we’ll just go to the good goose restaurant on the corner for sliced goose and octopus, prawns to dredge in wasabe-soy sauce, and some noodle soup.

Or. . . :bulb: You could cook for us Namahottie. Do you do ravioli, fondu, paella and lemon mouse?

turkey in the freezer; spuds in the fridge … a couple of veggies (can’t find brussel sprouts) and maybe some roasted onions …

and leftover bird for a few weeks … :hungry:

If you are in Taipei, then try and negotiate a bag of frozen brussels from Michel (owner) at the Tavern. He helps us foreigners out whenever he can.

whaddya know, just like grandma used to make
