Are you eating too much on CNY?
Chinese always “store” many food and candy during CNY.
Are you visiting friends on CNY?
Do you have a feast ?
Are you eating more than usual day without notice?

Hey, come on! It’s once a year, you only live once, and it’s the Year of the Pig.
So, pig out. (You’ll have plenty of time to feel guilty later).
…no, not really eating any more than usual. This is helped by the feeling that if I see or smell any Chinese food I will lose my cookies - most of CNY I’m hiding by myself for exactly that reason.

:hungry:
I feel guilty now.
More offal and entrails in a cauldron of boiling radish and ‘something’ than usual…thats for sure.
…I’m back from in-laws visit…wife & boy still there for 2 more days…
Postpone the guilt. Feel happy now and guilty on Monday! Mondays are already crappy; why ruin a perfectly good holiday?
I had a big home-cooked feast on Saturday night, and then another big restaurant lunch on Monday. It’s a good thing I loooove the food here. I didn’t eat that much on Monday, though, because I don’t eat fish or seafood, and if you go to a restaurant here that means a lot of the dishes will be off-limits. I did enjoy getting all those hongbaus! I was surprised to learn that I was actually supposed to get money just because we aren’t married! Does this mean if we just never get married I’ll never have to work again?!
No, seriously, I love Chinese New Year after this year!
I usually only eat Western food so no change there. But I am ready to admit my addiction to tea eggs. This morning I went to the convenience store around the corner and bought three of them. I had peeled and eaten all three of them before the elevator had even stopped on my floor. And they go perfectly well with my other vice - Uni-President Lemon Juice. I have a thing for salty foods and citrus fruit so I am in nirvana. I spend an average of five minutes coming over the crockpot looking for the brownest ones with pieces of shell missing so they have more flavor. The ones with a bit of egg “white” (usually a dark shade of brown) bubbled of a crack are the best.
I can’t even smell them without drooling. I have to talk myself into a limit of no more than three eggs a day.
Is there a support group I can join?
As for the feast that was weiya for my school, however, which also consisted of almost all Western food, I can only taunt your tastebuds with three words:
Truffle. Mashed. Potatoes.
Okay, you can wipe the drool off your keyboard now.
throw the yolks away and u can eat more
I am just pigging out on the entrails! Yummy!
I always eat too much.
We had a dumpling making party on new years eve and a big hotpot on new years - I ATE A LOT!
