Are you pro-birth but not pro-life?

I’m pro-choice but not pro-baby murder.

You mean pro-stillbirth?

No, I don’t know anyone who is pro-stillbirth.

I am firmly pro-zac. :ohreally:

No.

I am fully aware that life is cheap.

good documentary on eugenics on the BBC Newsnight at the moment.

I’m anti-choice and pro-death. I think abortion should be mandatory and retroactive.

@Zla’od
You’d make a wonderful dictator. I know Hitler would treat you like his son :roflmao:

Back to topic:
Pro-birth but not pro-life is equivalent to saying,

“I support kids. I think we need more of them being born because we’re running out of food on the planet. Now, what did you say you wanted to order? Fried baby hand, or fried baby leg?”

I’m a guy, and frankly the choice is not my to make based on any reason. I can state my wishes, but ultimately the person bearing the child should make the decision.

I guess that makes me pro-not-being-a-douche-and-imposing-my-belief-onto-others-who-actually-does-all-the-work.

I’m the same, except when they expect me to then pay for it (either directly, or indirectly via state handouts). Can’t have your cake and eat it too.

Then use protection. Can’t have your cake and eat it too.

The older I get, the more convinced I become that vast swaths of folks should sterilize themselves.

Could say exactly the same thing to the woman.

Some communities in the U.S. have 70%+ illegitimacy rates. You do realise that said communities also have higher rates of crime, lower rates of educational attainment, etc. Maybe it’s just a coincidence that state interference in reproduction (via both family law and the welfare state) and providing incentives for, or removing disincentives from, certain behaviours immediately preceded and continues to exist around such shocking outcomes for said communities.

Nah, let’s go with the glib answer instead.
