I JUST drove by what looked like a scene out of a movie. A guy waving around a handgun was surrounded by a whole bunch of cops with their guns drawn and pointed at him. Any of you media guys know about this yet?

Was around there walking the dog, but only saw a line of cops in scooters rushing to the scene. I have never seen 8 “motorized” cops in a row.
That’s right along my Green 1 bus route!! I can imagine the TVBS headlines from the stray bullet that kills me: “Rude foreigner shot because headphones were too loud on bus”. Then the ‘interviews’ with random people: “Well, if he was being rude…” “His music was bothering other people, so…” “Foreigners can buy youyouka?”. Then they find my Facebook and start showing drunk pictures of me at Spark and my “Taiwanese people are retarded” status messages. Finally, they speculate that I, as a trigger-happy American, snuck the gun in myself…you know, because guns don’t exist in Taiwan.
