I have an ASUS W5Fe laptop that’s no longer under warranty (over 2 years old). I’d like to replace the LCD screen and keyboard on it. I’ll be visiting Taiwan for about 3 weeks in late February/early March and I’m wondering if it’s worthwhile to bring my laptop to see if I can find decent repair service there.

Any ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated - Thanks!

I got my screen and lid replaced for free because of a design flaw that left cracking near the hinges. It was just over two years since I bought it.

It’s worth a shot. And even if they can’t fix it for free, they can still fix it for you on the same day at the Asus repair center on Bade Road.
