ATTN: Hip Hop Enthusiasts

so i’ve been in Taiwan for almost a couple of months now and I’m finding that there is a serious lack of good hip hop…what’s good hip hop? well…i guess that depends on you…

nonetheless…I created this post b/c I’m fiending to get back in touch w/ hip hop…whether it be through sharing some music…beat boxing…kicking some frees… or just straight talking about music…whatever…i’m down!

So if you’re like me and you miss hip hop here in Taiwan then let me know…we’ll go grab a couple brews and just kick it in the park or something…you don’t have to be a an amazing rapper or anything (i’m definitely not one) …even if you’re the slightest bit interested in maybe giving it a try then what are you waiting for? let’s do this!

Isn’t that an oxymoron? :ponder:

LOL…not in my books

I take it you’re not a fan

c’monnnn anybody?!

Hip-hop was very popular in Taiwan when I was there, maybe you’re just not hanging out with the right people. I no longer know who the right people are, but I’m sure it’s still there, keep looking! I suggest going to the clubs on (An He)? Road and talking to the DJs as a good place to start.

Unless of course you mean Taiwanese produced hip-hop, in which case there certainly is none good, but that is because most Taiwanese produced music is crap. The abundance of local musical talent but lack of a compelling local recording industry has been discussed in depth in many other threads.
