sorry mate, not too sure… akubra’s - you might have to use a cowboy style hat… ionly know of food such as vegemite you can get at Jasons…
it doesn’t have to be a real akubra, cowboy is fine… do you know where i can buy that? I tried looking at some night markets, can’t seem to see anything.
I’ve seen Tim Tams at some convenience stores.
If you were in San Francisco, I could tell you where you can get a didgeridoo…
There is a small Aussie flag (about 30-40 cm long) at my office. It’s not mine, though…
Um, corked akubras do not really come under the category of Australian things.
They come under the category of “Things that people THINK are Australian things”.
You’ll actually be wanting meat pies, football, Holden cars and VB. Or some of Elle’s range of undies.
If you were in San Francisco, I could tell you what to do with a didgeridoo…

I am Australian, so am very much aware haha
But still this is what the rest of the world associates us with, and i need to dress up as an Australian for a cultural affair, so have decided to go with obvious. I got the VB from Jason’s… but i really want the cowboy hat!!! haha
Well, best of luck to ya, mate!
I do actually have a good Aussie hat, but my hat’s in Okinawa, and you’re in Taipei. bit tricky.
no bloody corks, though.

Hey, I thought Austo-ralians weren’t allowed to have things…
You could take one of those tubular tienbula units from 7-11 and tell everyone is was a Chiko.
I’m standing next to a didge now. In Luzhou of all places.
Sounds painful.

One day I’ll be famous enough to photograph Nat Geo covers. Until then, it’s company launches and press conferences in Luzhou. ![]()
