I can’t decide if this is exploitative or not as the aim was to get a bunch of autistic people together to perform in a band. Either way, what a great voice she has!
If the show helps offset some of the costs of raising an autistic child…forever, it’s ok…if they’re just looking to do a freakshow, it’s bad…

Is it exploitative for people to marvel at Stephen Wiltshire, the autistic guy from London who draws entire cities, exactly, precisely, all from memory?
And what does this guy have to do with the girl singing jazz?
You’re right, my bad. It’s completely different to showcase the talents of an autistic boy for an impressed audience than it is with an autistic girl.
(Though, I’ve got to admit, his talents blow hers away by a long shot.)

Needn’t get snarky there. Just curious as to why you chose to completely ignore the OP question… 
I’m just blown away by the fact they have a TV show called Autistic Superstars that showcase such talent.
Apparently we can thank immunisations for all this talent.
