Autotext for longer passages

Autotext is a wonderful time-saving tool, especially when doing repetitive work, however it is limited to a certain amount of characters. Does anybody know of a way of inserting longer pieces of text, except for using clipboard? Or is there a way of saving text on clipboard for future use, perhaps? Thanks.

For Firefox, Clippings. For everything else, Phrase Express.

If your arseheaded corporate system doesn’t allow you to install those, you can use MSWord’s Autocorrect function, creating codes like text1, text2, etc. for portions of the text, if it’s slightly longer than the limit. This would still be unworkable for anything of great length.
