Autumn in New England was the best. Cool crisp days, you got to break out the sweaters, but still have the occasional 75F day. It was apple season. The trees changing were spectacular. Definitely my favorite time of year. The only downside was autumn meant that winter was coming, and winter in New England royally sucked…
Autumn here is nice too, still my favorite season, but here it feels more like just a relief from summer and not so special in it’s own right.
There are leaves in Taiwan? 
I was in Canada for the summer last year so I had a year to forget what a gruesome place this is in the summer. Hot, humid, rancid with auto-exhaust air. Gave me a lung infection. I have never HATED a summer as much as this last one. I’ve never hated a summer at all. Was up in the mountains in Japan for a week too so I got just enough of a tease to apprecite what a fucking crap summer this was. HOT and raining since what? April. Yick.
It’s getting nice NOW though, no doubt.
