Bad/fake whisky common?

I regularly bought Johnnie Walker black PX Mart and found it OK.

Thailand, Philippines fake whiskey is rife so I guess some is done in Taiwan or bought over from China.

Whiskey lovers would lambast me for this, but I liked the Suntory gold sold in convenience stores.
