Any badminton players out there?
Or anyone know where I can go play some pick up games or just rally a bit?
I’m not a player but my co-worker plays (religiously) at two locations:
Guang Fu Guo Xiao (Guang Fu Elementary School) – sorry, no address but they say it’s easy to find.
Hours:
Tues. - Friday 5:00-7:10 a.m.
Weekend 5:00-8:30 a.m.
Some sort of nominal fee required. I can ask if you want. Supposedly some very good players at this place.
Taipei Arena Sports Complex – again, sorry no Chinese address on this, but it’s not Xiao Ju Dan (the arena itself but the first building south)

I’m told that all the players at Guang Fu are either Taiwanese or mainlanders. No idea what’s going on at TASC.
All that said, I’ve been thinking about picking it up again (having not played in 25 years). It’s the hours I object to. No way I’m up at 5:00 a.m. unless I haven’t been to bed yet. If you find something reasonable – as in at least an hour after sunrise, I’d be into playing. PM me if you are interested. Otherwise, good luck.
So early… I don’t think I can make those times alive to play… I’ll look into it if I find myself awake somehow and check out TASC sometime. Thanks!
Any info on local camps for teens? My nephew may have Olympic potential, but his Da would like to test him out in a more competitive environ.
