Another similar event related to Hong Kong. Former Taiwanese super-star
Ms. Chin-Shia Lin (林青霞), who now lives in Hong Kong, has been
sermoned twice by Taipei DA.
As a Taiwanese citizen, she voted in the 3/20 election. Prosecutors would
like to investigate the charge of “revealing” her ballot before casting.
She totally dismissed it.
Similar in what way?
Flashing one’s vote is illegal in Taiwan, and for very good reason – voters would flash their vote to a vote-buyer to prove that they had voted as promised. If someone saw Lin flashing her vote and reported it to the police, then the local prosecutor are required to look into it. This has nothing to do with the DDP; in fact, prosecutors as a lot are are solidly pro-Blue, just like the police and military officers.
actually what pisses me off about the brigid lin thing is that they shouldn’t allow a media fuckfest in a polling station in the first place…if you watch the footage it starts with her outside flashing the no. 2 sign…and then proceeding inside to vote…she doesn’t actually flash her paper it’s just there’s so much media in attendence that it can’t help but be seen she’s voted for LC…i would actually haul the polling station cheif over the coals for this since he’s allowed a breach of confidentiality to occur…mind you brigid photo-opp lin should prolly have her vote disallowed too since she obviously fails to understand the meaning of the words secret ballot plus she’s campaigning on election day…
no i really saw it on telly i swear…she makes a big song n dance of blowing and waving the thing dry at which point the camera zooms in to show her chop in pretty boy liens box…

We should be thankful that a piece of worthless trash like that has emigrated from Taiwan. If she faces a prosecutor’s summons the next time she returns, we can hope to be spared from her further offensive presence here for a while at least.
Invite him to Taiwan to show that it’s a free country.
But like all foreigners here, he has to take a STD test. Don’t inform him of this fact beforehand.
Fans desert Jackie Chan
He is thought to have been sidelined this time - despite his long-standing popularity with film audiences - because he recently confessed to having fathered an illegitimate child.
He admitted to having been unfaithful to his wife with former Miss Asia, Elaine Ng - who later bore him a daughter.
yeah yeah…let’s ban him from forumosa; that’ll teach the little ingrate a lesson…all those in favor say aye
Done. He will never post on Forumosa again, unless he changes his IP or something.
Wait a minute, this could be a great moment in cross-strait diplomacy. Let Jackie Chan be the mainland’s champion. Then pick a Taiwanese kung fu guy to fight him to see whether Taiwan gets to be independent or not.
