Where can I find the DMV in Banchiao to take the driving test? Is there one?

I think you have to go to the one in Taipei. I’ve always still had to deal with them even though my license/registration address is in Panchiao.

I think the place you mean is on the road that goes from Banqiao to Zhonghe, near the Global Mall. There is also a driving school just nearby on the same road.

Confirmed. It is the small lane that turns left off of JhongShan Rd. (section 2 - Ithink) just past Global Mall as you drive from Banciao. They are VERY helpful and Western friendly. You can take the written test and road test all in this one place. Girl in the booth at the lane entrance will hit you up for 10 NT parking fee.

It’s technically in Zhonghe, not Banqiao. Zhongshan Rd. Sec. 3 Number 116
