This Saturday, in Hsimending, at the Shin Kong Cineplex. A selection of award-winning mountain and adventure films from this year’s Banff Mountainfilm Festival will be shown throughout the day (the best stuff, including Chris Sharma in “King Lines” is in the last couple segments). In past years, the selection of films has been mindblowing. Climbing, skiing, mountain biking, BASE-jumping, and plenty of balls-out adrenaline caught on film.
Of local interest, a film about rock climbing on Taiwan’s Northeast Coast is scheduled for the 4:00-6:00p.m. segment.
