Was arrested, taken to prison. That’s the way he described it, not cattleprods or anything. Just complete boredom and sitting about all day.

I thought prison in China is hard labor and military discipline. Meaning it’s like boot camp. I hear people describe prison in Taiwan like that. Basically not a whole lot of sitting around, but lots of work.

But then again detention center tends to be boring, it’s not meant for long term holding. I guess prison and reeducation camp is where all the military discipline and stuff goes on.
