Bank recommendations for EUR / Int. payments, 2022 edition

Hey everyone, I would like to open a bank account in Taiwan with the main purpose of receiving (and sending) EUR currency.
Additional requirements would be mobile app/web interface in English.

From my research (which contains a lot of very old posts and info) the best bank seems to be CTBC - people say it has the least paperwork involved, fee for incoming SEPA payment is “only” 400 TWD and they have English banking interface.
My only gripe is that they apparently don’t provide a EUR card and if you want to pay with your Euros, it has to be transferred to TWD account first and then use associated TWD card.

My second guess would be Citi due to their global presence and I’d assume they are setup for this. I haven’t found many reviews online though and read negative opinions that just opening the account takes months.

Any other recommendations or suggestions are highly welcome!

Hi, most ‘international’ banks here just are Taiwanese banks with a foreign name slapped onto them.

I used Cathay, they also have similar rules.
