Looks like Barrios scraped Forumosa for anyone exposing their email addresses and sent out mass emails advertising tonight’s specials. Hopefully the other recipients of their emails find SPAM as unappetizing as I do. Don’t support spammers!
Really??? I didn’t get any, and I have an address on the front page. Then again, I might have and I just didn’t notice it – was it in Chinese? I get so much spam that I have to choose the “select all” function in my web mail and then unselect the 1 or 2 new messages that are really for me before deleting everything else. And this is after the spam filter. I hate spammers, too, btw
No, it was in English. It was sent from ‘Sean Williams’ and had the subject ‘This Friday @ Barrios’. The bulk of the message was a very large but still quite amateurish looking image, so it might have been nuked by the pretty typical ‘nuke anything that’s mostly an image’ spam filter.
I assume you mean Barrio…Hmmmm…they are spamming. Must be a promoter. No one who works there has the wherewithal to use a computer in any technical fashion. Anybody else get an email? I will see if I can find out what happend. (At times like this I feel compelled to remind people. I am not affiliated with Barrio in any way.)
It is called Barrios in the email, so I have no idea the proper spelling.
If you need a copy of the email, let me know. I looked it over again and it includes an attached copy of a draft of the email advertisement sent from ‘Genie Medeiros’ to someone on yahoo.com, presumably the same person who sent the spam (using a different yahoo address). Is Genie someone associated with Barrio?
I asked ‘Sean Williams’ and ‘Genie Medeiros’ to take me off their email lists after the last round. Got another one from them advertising Barrio again, this time advertising ‘FREE BOOZE’. Don’t support spammers! Don’t go to Barrio.
