Team USA gave up runs to the Netherlands early, but never gave up and came back to end the game with a 10 point lead.
Korea @ Taiwan will take place tomorrow at the Taipei Dome.

A couple of weeks ago, I happened to be staying at an Airbnb right next to the site of the Guadalajara pool.
I find this news article title to be pretty funny.
墨西哥力壓波國開胡?
I know Liberty Times is pro-independence. I just didn’t know it’s also for Puerto Rican independence.
Venezuela just defeated Team USA 5 to 3. Venezuelan staring pitcher Mario Sanchez pitched this last season for Taiwan’s Uni Lions, and pitched 6 innings giving up 2 runs.
Looked at the highlights, not many people in attendence. Fell sorry for Daiso the sponsor, no chance to boost business in Mexico. Was thinking to go a Taipei match, though prices seem high for a low attention game (non Taipei match)
How much for a ticket?
For games at the dome, you can get a nosebleed seat for a non-Team-Taiwan game for as low as 280. If you want a reasonably decent seat, it’s 1580 or above. You can go to a game a Tianmu, but the lowest ticket is 500.
Lots of tickets available for Taiwan vs DR tomorrow.
The game time feed has no commentary. Which is Ok, but I have no idea who most of the Taiwan team all of the Korea team are.
Where is Gil Kungkuan?
Now the sound is on.
Grand slam, 2 Run HR. 6-0.
By Rakuten’s Chen Wei-cheng, who before this year hit no more than 5 homeruns a season.
How do you write his name in Chinese?
陳威晨?
The players are saying “vamo vamo.”
I think they’re trying to say “vamos.”
They probably heard it from Dominican players who don’t say the “s.”
Highlight reel
That Korean HR call was a travesty.
If it went over the fence, it’s physically impossible to ricochet back like it did. Horrible call.

I only say that word like Phoebe, “van moose”.

If it bounced off the top of the wall, then hit the railing behind the wall before bouncing back, then fine, it’s a home run. However, the railing was no where close to where the ball landed, and it bounced on the inside edge of the wall, and bounced back into the field. I have no idea why the call was made. Even the Korean announcers couldn’t believe it.
