くんよみ ??
Wrong thread.
Fighters are paying Lyle Lin $100K a year just to catch for two Taiwanese pitchers.

What a deal. How did he fool the Fighters like that.
That does not seem much money in todays baseball, though a lot for Taiwan for a monthly salary (maybe). 北海道日本火腿 are near the top of the JP north standings last year, so I think there are doing ok.
I agree it’s not a lot, but why waste a roster spot on him? He won’t contribute much at the plate.
They paying him like its for free ? $100,000= ¥450,000? That’s like low one month salary in Japan for one year?
$100,000 USD per year
Gulin hits 100mph with funny socks on.
We might as well change this thread title to Taiwanese players in NPB.
Anyway, Hsu Jo-hsi was completely dominant in his first NPB start. He went 6 inning without giving up a run.
Good performance.
Most of them in late innings. Wonder why that is.
Random fluctuation if you ask me.
Ham fighters not off to good start, still early though. Taiwan’s fav team the Dodgers are off to good start though (expected though)
In JAP is good payment, in USA not good so not good comparison.
Anko already second in the NPB in max exit velocity.
Thanks for the update. Do you think Gulin will start? Shinjo said he wants him to start eventually.
