Well, actuallyâŠ
Brunson is a very unlikely superstar, but here we are.
Deciding not to play second fiddle to Luka was such a smart move.
Yep.
Both teams played sloppy. Brunson even admitted as such in on-court post-game interview.

Come on, man. People canât take a joke? They can kiss my ass. I appreciate all the support Iâve gotten all these years, but if anybody thinks everybody likes them, theyâre a fool.
âSo if people donât like me or donât have a sense of humor, they can kiss my ass.â
Knicks with 28pt comeback. Oh those inexperienced Spurs. They could easily be up 3-1 if they had showed more poise in those two games they lost in the last minute. Now they must grow up quickly and win three in a row.
I thought it might have been 29, but was too lazy to look again at the recap. ![]()
You people and your obsession with stats⊠![]()
Are the Knicks deserving to be crowned champions when habitually getting behind a lot and then having to scramble to come back? Itâs not very convincing, I feel. Choking up big leads is also not very convincing. So, we are going to have a very unconvincing NBA champion this year.
At least the Knicks donât play dumb basketball, like the Spurs did in the second half. Didnât go into the paint, didnât run the clock down, just kept missing wide open 3s and gave the Knicks possession to narrow the lead. Live by the 3, die by the 3.
My son and I were watching. The third Q was like a 30 minute half inning in baseball. San Antonio seemed to cool down and just couldnât get restarted in Q4.
Tragic that the Knicks fans will talk about this fucking for ever. ![]()
People are pretty pumped indeed in these parts. Iâm not a fan myself, but did catch the last 4 minutes. Something else
God forbid they lose, I want to see happy faces, not sour ones.
The crazy thing is, even 3-1, I wouldnât count the Spurs out. Every single game so far really could have gone either way. It could just as easily be 2-2 or even 1-3.
Knicks surprised me, Brunson has proven me wrong. But itâs really how well the entire team plays together with Brunson.
Weâre going to be seeing this for a while here
I just saw a replay and they missed the foul on Foxâs layup. Sadly, officiating is just been awful and inconsistent all around.
But even then, you donât blow a 29 point lead, Wemby canât miss 2 clutch FTs, Fox didnât box out his assignment for that tip in.
Ben Simmons phone is now blowing up with teams needing his services. You need a guy who will pass on the shot under the basket.
Spurs, Spurs, Spurs, stayinâ alive, stayinâ aliveâŠ?
Coming down to the wire.
I fear the Spurs cannot shut down the NY 3 point shooting machine of they start it up.
Right now, this game seems to be all in the paint.
