I posted about a young husky a week or so ago. He turned up at my kids’ school over a month ago. He’s not chipped and nobody has come back to look for him. I’ve taken him to pet stores in the area and Keelung City but so far nobody has claimed him. The verdict seems to be he was dumped. He is now in our yard and needs to find a suitable permanent home. Echo is about a year old, very gentle-natured and in good health. So far, he’s great with kids and other dogs. We’ve taken him out for walks on the lead and he’s pretty good, but needs some training for commands. He loves to chew on things and I am still channelling his energies away from our wooden house.
As we live in Keelung, it’s not at all suited for a husky. It’s very hot right now and will be really wet sooner or later. I’d love to find a good home for him in a more suitable part of Taiwan. Failing that, we will work to finding him a family in North America.
