My wife got recently bitten in Hong Kong 78 times over night by bedbugs.
I won’t post the pictures as to upsetting but 4 weeks later, she carries most likely the scars for the rest of her life as TW Hospitals thought it were scabies and gave the wrong treatment.
Having reported the incident to the 4 related authorities in Hong Kong, we got news that preliminary evidence was found, prosecution in active state and the hazard treated.
Now, I am rather concerned after reading the article in the OP thread if they have been more careful using the right chemicals
