Been asked too many times

Might go teach in Taipei in January, is 1500 USD gonna tide me over until the first paycheck?

Probably okay, but it depends on your circumstances. Can you give us more info?
What nationality are you (this affects visas)?
Do you have a job lined up?
If not, do you have teaching experience/qualifications?
Where in Taipei do you plan to live?

Yes I can give more info

I am a US national

I do plan on having a job lined up.

I taught for a year in Kaohsiung, so I do have teaching experience (Kaohsiung is considerably cheaper than Taipei)

I would like to live in Danshui or somewhere on the outskirts/suburbs of the city

Also, I do not drink (though I love to dance) and not into eating western food-saved a lot of money living this kind of lifestyle in Kao
I am a US national
Good, you should be able to get a 60 day visa, avoiding the need for a visa run. Plus it is easier to get hired.

I do plan on having a job lined up. Good.

James, you have enough money.
