Nice try but it just reflects the superior levels of health care in New Zealand; most health problems in your kangaroo-infested country are under-reported.

That reminds me: Our black fellas are better than your black fellas.
Or should we talk about mountains and the percentage of arable land? Bwahhahahaha
Which brings us full circle to sheep. Snicker!

Damn it! Outsmarted again.
Its a shame you haven’t had an opportunity to try some of the micro-brewed ales from the USA. Many of them are truly outstanding. I normally take a few bottles of ale back to Taiwan to share with some of the Brits here who appreciate fine ales. These ales are usually received very well.
There are several Aussie brews that I like very much, including but not limited to the brews sandman identified above. But, I’d take probably 200 USA-brewed ales (especially hyper-hopped IPAs and rye ales and porters and stouts) over any of the good Aussie brews. I’d probably even select a few of the good USA-brewed wheat ales over any of the good Aussie brews.
If you get to the USA, you owe it to yourself to try some US micros. Do some research and you will be amazed.
Thats cause you never had any real US beer. Of course most people haven’t unless you live in Milwaukee. Sprecher, Lakefront, Capitol Brewery etc… all top notch beers, none of that Miller, PAbst, Schlitz, Blatz, Huber shit that also comes from Miltown or Beer City as it is known.[/quote]
I had a really good American IPA the other day in a pub in Shanghai. Naturally I can’t remember the name of it but it was hoppy as hell and 7-odd percent.
Most of the best beers I’ve ever had are made in America.
Shocking, eh!!???
I’ve heard Portland has a lot of microbreweries, but I think they’re a selfish lot for exporting all the crap and keeping the good stuff. That said, if I wanted to start a small part time business back in Aus., I can’t think of anything better than a microbrewery
