This guy’s a master at pushing the envelope. Walks the tightrope for a full hour.
I recognize him from the woke white supremacist video
That’s the guy. This one’s all over the place.
Hard at 'er.
Matt Rife
Been enjoying his comedy lately. His crowd work is really good.
He some how gets away without being woke with all ages and types of people.
Jessica Kirson, the best and worst comedian at the same time.
That sounds interesting
She is known for her crowd work, which is always entertaining, but for my taste she goes way overboard with her very explicit sex-related bits and making her typical old Jewish lady faces. But she’s alright all considered.
It sounds good lol
Hilarious. Watching her crowd work video, amazing. You described her well lol. She must be tweaking
Been loving him lately! Love how he deals with woke haters.
Just learned that Atsuko Okatsuka is half Taiwanese. Yeah, I’m late to the party. Previously I’ve only seen her in those drop challenge memes that she did with her grandma.
Atsuko sometimes employs a Japanese manzai-ish delivery on her punchlines, usually to finish very personal family stories.
Atsuko’s grandpa was a vet in Pingdong. His great-grandpa was a local government employee and was frustrated with the KMT grifting from local farmers, and decided to run in a local election against the KMT candidate. After the KMT’s attempt to take her great grandpa out of the election by planting evidence and trying to frame her great grandpa for the grifting they’ve committed failed, the KMT assassinated her grandpa by running him over with a car, which was one of the KMT’s favorite tactics. That left Atsuko’s grandma a widow in her 20s, and Atsuko’s mother saw her father’s body being carried home at a very young age. Perhaps it was that traumatic experience that left an impact on Atsuko’s mother, and she began developing mental issues.
By the time her mother was in her 30s, Atsuko’s grandma was getting worried, and decided to enter Atsuko’s mother into a Japanese dating show, where Atsuko’s mom met Atsuko’s Japanese father. The two fell in love, got married in Japan, and her mom gave birth to Atsuko in Taiwan, and moved to live with her husband in Chiba. That’s when Atsuko’s mom began developing schizophrenia. One of her frequent visions evolves her seeing KMT agents coming to get her.
Eventually her condition ended the marriage, with Atsuko’s dad having full custody. However, Atsuko’s mom and grandma lived close by in Chiba, and her dad would allow them to take Atsuko to their place and spend time with her.
Meanwhile, Atsuko’s uncle on her mother’s side moved to the US, probably to escape constant surveillance and discrimination like many other families of white terror victims. Atsuko’s grandma was taking care of Atsuko’s mother alone in Japan, and felt she needed other family members to help her out. That’s when she began scheming to take Atsuko and her mom to the US under the pretense of getting Atsuko to experience summer school in the US for 2 months, then staying in the garage of Atsuko’s uncle until they can get their green card. So when Atsuko was 10, she was basically kidnapped by her grandma to LA, without giving her father a heads-up.
Atsuko made a documentary about her grandma and her mom’s condition.
Man, say what you will about some of her grandma’s more questionable decisions, but that’s a lady who grew up in rural Pingdong in the 50s, being able to speak 4 languages, and executed plans to get out from KMT control, get her daughter married in Japan, an international kidnapping for her grand daughter to grow up in the US, all while taking care of her daughter with mental challenges.
