This version has much more funk and soul than the original.
This Mortal Coil’s cover of Judy Collins’ My Father.
Far superior to the original in my opinion.
MOFO best Sultan’s of Swing ever. No buskers like this begging in Taiwan.
Beautiful Gran Via, probably I’ve seen that guy before.
A Fleetwood Mac song I all but ignored when it was big. But this cover is making me revisit the tune.
An oldie (already), by way of writer Harlan Howard and originally recorded by Guy Mitchell. From maybe the best country album* of the last quarter of the 20th century, Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc.
If you’ve ever been lucky enough to hear, and to dance to this, Yoakam’s version in a honky-tonk with a dance-waxed floor, then you know, you know …

*-Mainly because this - maybe - is the best country song of the 20th century.
Very nicely done. And the twist at the end was not expected at all.
Wow. I know Jonathan Butler for jazz and gospel. But this cover. He should do more of this kind of stuff. So much freakin’ guitar and singing talent. Nice little African intro on this one.
I think his cover strays too much from the original, but man, that’s an amazing voice.
Thought it was good , that voice is so hard to replicate . I did post this guy on Forumosa but can’t remember where
Will have to check when my neighbors are not sleeping.
Always good to see young folks doing songs from this era.
