Great music!
But are they cover versions?

I’m assuming so. Cover versions =different versions in my book. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I think it’s a bit tricky with jazz. Most of the time we’re talking of jazz standards that are done by many different artists and you need to do some homework to know who composed the tune and who played it first. But anyway, I’m not going to thumb my nose at any tune sung by Sinatra and Ella, especially Ella.

Me neither!
It was just my pedantic side coming out. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It was a legit point tho.

One of the greatest cover groups of all time in my opinion was Peter Paul and Mary. Their arrangements of many songs were even admitted by the original artists to be better.

Impressive Pentatonix cover of Florence and the Machine, Dog Days of Summer.

Or watch the full clip.

Dunno if it’s the best cover of Jolene, but it’s a pretty good one. Gotta wonder about what’s not seen in what seems to be somebody’s run-of-the-mill dining room, because the sound quality is fine.

Not really a cover but interesting version of Jolene.
