I think you can, if I remember they also looked at my company account but I already had the required amount in personal. You can just transfer money from your business account to personal to show them the funds in the account, then transfer it back to your business account again. That should be the easiest way to do it. They just want to tick a box that says you have enough.
Unfortunately they’ve now reduced the discount in 2024. The maximum discount is now 11%, down from 18% for the top card, and 8% for the middle tier card, down from 14%. I will be looking to use the HSBC traveler card instead of CTBC now as I don’t think the top card is worth the renewal price.

The China Airlines CTBC card has got worse again. You get 4-5 free airport transfers per year. They used to always send executive BMW 7 series or Lexus LXs to pick you up, but the last couple of times I’ve been given old Toyota RAV 4s. Just got one now, the driver opened the trunk and half his stuff was in there. Car is dog-eared, stinks of mold and has little totems hanging everywhere like the yellow taxis do.
Anyone else with this card noticed the same?
Does this airport transfer benefit only apply to Taoyuan airport?
It doesn’t, but refer to the cards and service t&cs, it really depends on the pick up and drop off locations
