Best hospital emergency room in Taipei? (5 miles from TAS)

if you or your loved one requires visit to a hospital emergency room,
where’s the best one in Taipei? (within a 5 mile radius from TAS… or
maybe even a little furter)

just want to have this info handy…

also, does the 911 service in Taipei speak English or German?
Or is there a special emergency number that has English or
German-speaking staff?

I highly recommend this one. My mom had brain surgury there ten years ago and everything was first class.

The Shingkong Hospital is the “official” one for ambassadors and other diplomatic staff. It’s got multilingual staff and first rate facilities.

Some even Spanish and French. To volunteer, you must speak both Mandarin and Taiwanese.

They do have lots of foreign “customers”. Last time I was there, in the emergency room they had four foreigner cyclists who had a crash and (no pun intended) landed there. Nothing serious, thank Goodness.

They also offer CPR courses.
