I am hunting for an all in one Printer-Scanner-Fax.
Mainly I need to scan my 1000 something photos that are stored in my shoe boxes. So the main purpose would be a good quality scanning machine, I would also need some printing (occasionally) and some faxing.
I am looking at the HP PSC 2610 or Canon MP 110.
The HP has a better scanning quality but its cartridge are 3X the price of the Canon one.
I’ll put 9000NT max.
Questions:
Do you have any one of those all in ones? if yes, are u satisfied with it?

The scanning quality is fine but I think that for photo scanning you’d need something better such as the 2610 you mention. The print quality is good and I’ve had some great results using glossy paper.
The HP software is very easy to use – it integrates the printer, scanner, copy and also some image processing functions. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of manual control over the OCR functions but the OCR results are OK.
