Same here, I’m in Xinjhuan and I just can’t think of a good way to move them to my shop. If anyone closer to you wants them, or you can use them, then by all means go for it.
I see a pattern here.
The best way is an air punch… but you probably don’t care about breaking them down that well. ;).
If you just need them broken down to throw away, just run a circular saw down each side and inch from the supports, use a crow bar, or if they’re beat up enough, just pull and tug.
Back in the day, I would hire a local kung fu expert to chop them in pieces a la kong shou and then burn them in my back yard, laughing as I listen to the cussing as the windows on the upper floors are slammed shut, one by one.
But that stuff doesn’t fly anymore. There was someone up north in the postings that suggested recrafting them. Good idea if you have the time and know-how.
