At the recent Taipei Digital Equipment Exhibition, some sneaky thieves made out with quite a haul of equipment. Please beware any “interesting” offers, as this is a highly publicized case. Ther are big rewards being offered for info/returns. Though the possibility is remote, here’s a list for your perusal:
How the hell did someone lose all that equipment? Did they fall asleep? Bad case of the sharts? You would think someone could see someone leaving with such a haul.
One bit at a time. It was what we call in Spanish a gato casero job, a cat burglar who knew where the blind corners were for the surveillance equipment. And it is not all cameras, it is lenses and flashes and stuff, one bit at a time, in such a bustling crowded mess… But yeah, lihai indeed.
On the bright side, at least now the owner can start fresh with Cannon equipment (:
