Big Motorcycle Road Rules and Law

From the video you provided, it’s no different from what I see cars do on the Freeway in Taiwan, which is change lanes too quickly and tailgate
to get up to the next place in line. The person providing the video shows how to properly split the lane, which I noticed you didn’t comment on.

If anything, motorcyclists on the Freeway are more in danger from the motorists in Taiwan than themselves. Motorcyclists on the Freeway are
more likely to be the victim of how motorists in Taiwan weave around the Freeway like it’s their own private road. Let me put it this way, do you
really think Taiwanese would “allow” a motorcycle it’s own space like car? I’d say no way in hell, they’d try and push it over like a scooter.
That’s the major problem here, is that real motorcycles aren’t “given” the proper space as cars. On a Freeway going 100km/h, that could be
fatal.

Those are my thoughts as well. I wasn’t worried about the motorists. I was worried about all the bikers who are simply going to DIE

Maybe so, but let us take the risk if we want to… If you’re so worried - don’t ride a bike… simple…

Well eventually (in 20 years?) Taiwan will open up its freeways to 500cc and up bikes.

Just hopefully by then the general driving/riding public will be more aware and we won’t have massive carnage.
