Hi all,

Does anyone know where and how to download and install support Big5?

What OS do you use?

Windows and Ubuntu Linux both support it in you install their language support.

For example, I can’t read much of this website:
dict.variants.moe.edu.tw/

Does that mean I don’t have big5 support?

You probably have Big5 already enabled, but this site isn’t displaying properly due to poor coding.

A quick fix - click the View menu in your browser, followed by Character Encoding. Select Big5 from the list.

If you don’t see Big5 there, it might not be installed. It’s been many years since I used Windows, so someone else will have to explain how to enable support.
