I had a Grifter once.

This wasn’t my first bike, but it was my favourite. I bought it in the dead of winter in mint condition from a construction worker who hurt his back on the job and was no longer able to ride - I had to drive it home in a snowstorm, so I was able to get a pretty good deal on it. It a was liquid-cooled, V4, 16 valve, shaft-drive cruiser that redlined at over 10,000 RPMs and had the most gorgeous exhaust note you’ve ever heard. I miss that bike!
