I thought it would be interesting to have a blogroll here, for people who’d want to see some that others come across.
My first contribution:

Stuff White People Like

#81 Graduate School

Or

#71 Being the only White person around
Many white people will look into the window of an ethnic restaurant to see if there are other white people in there. It is determined to be an acceptable restaurant if the white people in there are accompanied by ethnic friends. But if there is a table occupied entirely by white people, it is deemed unacceptable.

The arrival of the “other white people” to either restaurants or vacation spots instantly means that lines will grow, authenticity will be lost, and the euphoria of being a cultural pioneer will be over.
After reading through the what white people like blog I can’t say that it is really what white people in general like. It seems to be more of an extention (and in some cases direct description…ripoff?) of the white people David Brooks labeled as Bobos in his book Bobo’s in Paradise.

Cute With Chris definitely for the animal lover. He also has a youtube channel. Check it out.

Armies of Liberation

An American housewife’s blog which has been banned in Yemen because she has a ongoing online protest for a jailed journalist. The journalist faces the death penalty for being in communication with her via a txt message.

Six Trains, Two Boats, One Adventure

“A 22 day journey of 8,500 miles from the UK to Taiwan - with no aeroplanes.”
