Where is a good place to hear some good band playing in taichung city???
While there are not any real blues bands around right now, check the 89k facebook page for who is playing. Watch for Three Day Bender, Reider, for blues based rock and pop. Also a band called The Silence who is playing there this Friday. Otherwise, there are some great rock and soul, funk bnds that play there. Sexual Chocolate will play this Sunday Feb 13 for Val’s day. They play seventies style funk, soul, jazz and RnB. If you are really down for the funk, Killer 3000 orchestra rehearse at 89k almost every Thursday. They are a 14 piece funk orchestra. It doesn’t get better than that, dog.
