I don’t think boys ever grow up, and are always attracted to toys, especially fast or cool things. Trains, planes, toy cars, real cars, motorbikes, you name it…
Some of mine include:
Picooz mini battery RC copter
RC car (nitro, smoky noisy, rotting away)
RC plane, thunder tiger sport 40 (gathering dust hanging from my ceiling)
Meade telestar DS2114 telescope (computer guided, so no need to understand anything about astronomy, in the closet)
PS2 mini (in my hotel room here in china… ahh)
Dopod CHT9100
Things I currently want or an interested in include a Wii and learning to kite-surf. Ohh and would love a big bike, got my license back in the UK… not gotten one here yet thou
Ya. It flaps verily. This moves it forward. It has a tail roter to turn it. This takes some steady hand to keep it strait. It is hard to turn or to keep straight until you get to know it. Don’t expect to be an expert the first time.
It also needs a big not windy space. Outside on no wind days or in a big gym area.
I’ve seen them for sale in Carrefour in Taichung (Taichung Central Dept. Store). Was gunna pick one up, but didn’t bring enough cash that day (and forgot the credit cards).
My toys:
PS2
Desktop PC built for gaming (except speakers are not great) - was great at it’s time.
Laptop
Hornet 250 (to be replaced with something bigger as soon as I get the green light)
Nokia N95 - as soon as I can get my hands on one (keeps getting delayed, now released at the end of May)
The toy store in the basement at the 101 mall has the PicooZ micro helicopter on sale at NTD899. Couldn’t resist but I am disappointed by the very short flight time.
Going to a toy store in a basement for my dream toy is really not my first thought. The Gulfstream? Ya. The girl on the bike - OH YA!, Yaght with heli-pad is more in my mind. Don’t think I will find that in the bargain basement. Hell, I don’t think I will find it at all. But, such is life.
