Broken arm and dreams

[quote=“Limey”]This incident makes me wonder just how careful one needs to be in class. I regularly do running games, 99.9% of which are fine, but ocassionally someone will trip, or bang against the whiteboard. If they broke an arm in this kind of game I am assuming it would be my responsiblity. If so, then perhaps I should stop these kind of energetic games?

I’ve had children get a few scratches and bruises, but nothing worse. Never had a complaint from a parent, as (most of us will agree) kids get bumps and scratches all the time; it’s part of growing up.

OP- Take the advice, get a lawyer and get it sorted. Don’t run away from a mess you created.

Last year one of my Kindy kids fell off the jungle gym and broke his arm. His parents were really good about it. They basically said that kids will be kids and I didn’t get in trouble.
