I don’t know how you got that idea. I believe on the OP it clearly states open to everyone. If not, I apologize and please feel more than welcome to join us.[/quote]
Gee, maybe titling the thread “Mod’s Brunch” might have created the impression it was, ah, a Mod’s Brunch?

Well. I went. But unfortunately I showed up after 4pm.
Camer from my private up in Jianan (which ran late) and then couldn’t find the place for about 45 minutes.
Was so tired I just walked in (with friend) and hunched over my iPhone like ughhhhh… my day sucks
Couldn’t even be bothered to try to figure out if any of the people were Flobbers.
So if you were there, apologies.
Food was good though and servers are trained well
Hopefully Ill catch you all in the next weeks.

Sorry we missed you Lili. Toe Save and a few of his hockey buddies were there and Tigerman was regaled with the ins and outs of Taiwan hockey. Try again next week?
Don’t know if I can make it next week, but will definitely try if I don’t have a lesson. I def want to go again.
By the way, what gives with the canned fruit salad? There is plenty of delicious fresh fruit in the markets and you put canned, syrupy peaches in the dish?
While I ate it cause I was like “Wow, haven’t had this in years!”, its still kinda weird (in a not-so-appreciated way). :s
But damn, your turkey club sandwich is the bomb. And your side potatoes.
Anyone care to join me this weekend? Best brunch in town, I kid you not. All flobsters and friends welcome. 10% discount in effect, thanks to our gracious hosts: Debbie, Andrew and Alex.
I pulled a Lilli and showed after 4pm, too. But we had a great late lunch/early dinner. Now I am really curious about the brunch, so I’ll definetively try my best again. Yep, a reservation is a wise choice, I noticed, especially since we have a long weekend coming up.
I have it on good authority that our esteemed leader, the one, the only Goose Egg will be joining us today. Want to know where the flob is heading? Got any concerns about our direction? Brunch Club is the place to be. We won’t have Goose on island for much longer, so this is a great chance to drop by, meet him in person and tell him how much you’ve appreciated the site (or not) that he has created for us.
He has some great ideas for the future of The Flob, and if you’d like to get an insider’s scoop, come have a nosh.
