Buddha with "hand eyes", - what does it represent?

I’m looking for some information on Buddha with hands in place of his eyes(see picture below) . Name? Meaning?

Talk about your hand-eye coordination!

Seriously, though, I found another statue like this at the Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery in Hong Kong, but I have no idea about it. I’m curious as well.

Curious! The Internet doesn’t seem to know either.

Perhaps it’s a dedication to all the clumsy sports players in the world . Those who suffer from bad hand to eye coordination :face_with_hand_over_mouth::wink:

I found more photos, but no explanation… Intriguing.
