Each time I login, I tick the box that says “log me on automatically each visit,” but it doesn’t seem to work. Anyone else noticed this?

One of my transfered posts is full of squares where apostropes should be (and in other places). It looks like I used some Egyptian word processor. There must be others salted throughout like this.
